Prof. Lilac Amirav, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, Schulich Faculty of Chemistry at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

Her research focuses on photocatalysis on the nano scale and related photophysical and photochemical phenomena. The group’s research is concerned with the design, synthesis and characterization of innovative multi-component nanoparticle heterostructures, tailored for photocatalysis and energy conversion.

Prof. Charles Sykes, John Wade Professor, Department of Chemistry, Tufts University, School of Arts and Sciences, MA, USA

His research focuses on state of the art scanning probes and surface science instrumentation to study technologically important systems. For example, scanning tunneling microscopy enables visualization of the geometric and electronic properties of catalytically relevant metal alloy surfaces at the nanoscale.

Registration required for external attendees.

Internally, young researchers will have the chance to join in for “Women in CataLysis Career Talks”.

We are looking forward to meeeting you there!
